Vehicle Service Advisor

Vehicle Service Advisor required in North Bristol.

• Starting salary up to £27,000 per annum (pending experience).
• £6,000+ additional annual bonus potential with some Vehicle Service Advisors at our client earning over £12,000+ per annum.
• Monday to Friday 8:00am-6:00pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am-2:00pm paid as overtime.

Our client, a multi-franchise approved car dealership situated in the North Bristol region, are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department.

Reporting to the Service Manager and working alongside a service reception and a workshop team, as a Vehicle Service Advisor you will need to be a confident relationship builder, be able to influence and advise customers on minor technical issues with their vehicle whilst delivering a first class service, also achieving the company objectives and targets. You will greet customers in to the Service Department and book their vehicles in for associated repair work, have extensive liaison with the workshop to chase work in progress, up-sell on additional products and services where possible, and keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicle whilst taking payments for work completed.

The successful candidate would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills resulting in total customer satisfaction. Strong organisational skills along with IT literacy (any experience with Pinewood Pinnacle preferable) would be of high priority. Due to the nature of this role, recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or a similar role within the automotive industry would be highly advantageous however is non-essential provided you come from a strong customer service orientated background and have a basic mechanical understanding of vehicles. Liaising with the vehicle manufacturer to authorise warranty repairs, and a general knowledge of warranty procedures would be advantageous but is not essential.
