Bank Care Support Workers (Essex)

What we’re looking for:

Peabody are looking for passionate and dedicated Care Support Workers to join our flexible Bank staff (zero hours contract) throughout Essex. Experience in the following client groups is preferred, however, this is not essential:

• Learning Disability - Care
• Some services have a secondary disability - Physical

Our staff should be reliable, flexible, motivational and have excellent values. They should be able to demonstrate that they are committed to providing outstanding support services to vulnerable adults. A clear understanding of Safeguarding is essential. Training and support provided.

Please note this role involves personal care.

You will be comfortable undertaking a full range of manual handling tasks, including assistance with hoists and wheelchairs. You should be positive, caring and focused on encouraging choice, self-worth and assisting our customers to get out and about enjoying themselves in the local community. An example of the shifts you may cover; 7am - 2.30pm, 2.30pm - 10pm, 10am - 5pm and 10pm - 7am (sleep in/wake nights).

This role will require an Enhanced DBS check.
