Tipping Operative

We currently have positions available for Tipping Operatives. These roles will be working in the New Bowl Line Department

As part of the PDM team these roles will report directly to the Shift Supervisor and indirectly to the Factory Production Manager.

A good level of English is required, but not essential, with good team working and people skills. You must be organised, able to work autonomously and under pressure to ensure smooth operation within the Department.

Primary Responsibilities will include:-

• · Successful candidates must be able to read basic English.
• · Ensure the correct product is received into the area for the product being packed and, in the correct bunker as displayed on the bunker screens, but also as directed by the Line Leader/Supervisor.
• · Check the product received is the correct Lot Number, from the information received from the Line Leader/Supervisor.
• · Visually check the raw material brought to the line is of the correct specification and report all issues to the Line Leader/Supervisor and QA if necessary.
• · Complete Packstar process by booking raw material to the production job.
• · Carry out operations required by the Line Leader to complete production. Such requests could also come from the High Care Operators as you will be working closely with these colleagues.
• · Carry out cleaning duties at the request of the Line Leader/ Supervisor or indeed any other Manager.
• · Ensure working area is kept clean and tidy in line with Good Manufacturing process.
• · Undertake any other duties which might be requested by the Line Leader/Supervisor or Production Manager

There will be different Teams working in this area:

Shift Pattern is 4 on 4 off Days and Nights

9am-9pm Days

9pm-9am Nights

Average 38.5hr week

Experience in FMCG business essential

Transport is essential due to our location
