Position Overview & Specifications
Our main focus on the ward is to provide rehabilitation care for our patients who may also have a wide variety of other health conditions. You will support our nurses to deliver high quality patient care and be a vital member of our ward’s multidisciplinary team.
You will be required to have excellent communication skills, a positive caring non-judgmental attitude, and a willingness to learn. Our team will provide you with on-going development and training to help you progress in this satisfying career where each day is different, and your contributions will be valued and appreciated.
City Community Hospital provides rehabilitation for people who no longer require the services of an acute hospital but require greater support than currently provided in their home environment.
The hospital has a dedicated team of nurses and occupational therapists and is supported by medical teams.
The role is available on a permanent contract. A flexible requirement to work a variety of shift patterns is essential. Our shift patterns are: 7.30am-3.30pm / 1.30pm-9.30pm / 9pm-8.00am.
Flexibility to be able to undertake early/late/night shifts is required.
