Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for a talented Senior Architect Part II or III with at least 6 years UK experience to work within a small team and who has experience with design and project delivery. Applicants must have UK and London based experience in high-end residential, hospitality and commercial projects for private clients.
This role would suit someone with strong experience working through delivery stages. The right person must have great communications skills and be fluent in spoken and written English. The applicant must be confident to deal with a team, as well as clients, consultants, partners and networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Regular and effective liaising with the project director, design team, as well as external consultants and contractors.
- Develop and contribute to design packages
- Decipher technical information
- Work through the technical stages of projects (RIBA stage 4 and 5)
- Work independently to deliver technical packages
- Produce design and detailed information and drawings
- To work within a collaborative team
Skills and Experience
- Part II or Part III qualifications
- Ideally from a design-led practice, with experience on large-scale projects
- Autocad, microstation & revit skills are essential
- 3D modelling & Rhino skills are necessary
- Ability to freehand draw sketches to express and develop ideas with others is essential
- Have an aptitude for hard work with a high-end design ethos
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team and independently
- Excellent technical design capabilities with strong knowledge of UK building regulations and standards
- Display great energy, positive attitude and be empathetic
- Display kindness and respect to colleagues
- Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- A strong ability to conceive construction details from first principles
- Capability to coordinate information from external consultants
- Well organised with the ambition to grow your career
