Full-Time, permanent with flexible working
The salary for this post is £23,756.13 – £27,948.67 per annum, based on 35 hours per week.
The office is in Queens Street Office, March but the successful candidate will be home based. Travel across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough will be required throughout the working week.
We want a Child Wellbeing Practitioner who is dedicated to improving services and who wants to make a positive difference for children and young people.
You will have the opportunity to part of YOUnited, an innovative partnership involving Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust, Centre 33 and Ormiston Families. The partnership offers emotional wellbeing and mental health support to children and young people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, with Ormiston Families leading on interventions for children and young people aged 5-13 with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
You will be a qualified CWP, EMHP or PWP with experience of delivering low intensity CBT-informed interventions, preferably to children and young people aged 5-13 and their families. You will therefore have a good understanding of the mental health presentations in children and young people in the age group and a sound knowledge of guided self-help interventions.
You will join a supportive team and will work alongside our team of counsellors; and emotional wellbeing practitioners who are currently developing ‘Video Interactive Guidance’ and ‘Parent and Child Attachment Play’ interventions. We are also a team committed to offering trainee CWP placements.
This is a fulltime position for 35 hours per week and will require travel across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, so you will need access to a car.
