Day and night forklift drivers in Gloucester

Staffline are looking for 2 Counterbalance Forklift day drivers and 2 night drivers to join a busy warehouse based in Brockworth, Gloucester.

Hours on days are 08:00 till 17:30 Monday till Friday (with 30 mins unpaid break) and nights are 19:00 until 04:30 Sunday till Thursday (also 30 mins unpaid).

This will be for Counterbalance Forklift drivers with a clamp attachment (as the company works with kegs of alcohol). Job will also include picking of kegs ready for loading, goods inbound (loading/unloading trailers) and sorting empty kegs, so some manual work is required. Candidates will also be expected to operate a LLOP (Low Level Order Picker) and pick cases from the pickface onto pallets for loading and tranship breakdown of stock from the RDC for loading onto vehicles, which will involve some lifting.

Training on the LLOP will be provided and the training will involve an assessment on Counterbalance Forklift to make sure the candidates can operate one. Training will take 2 full weeks (all paid for) before work itself starts.

Company performs a drug test for candidates on their first day due to company policy.

Pay per hour on days is £11 and nights £12. Bank Holiday work is paid as 1.5 of the basic rate and sometimes required.

This is a temp to perm opportunity and after 13 weeks candidates will be required to go on contract with the company.
