OK COOL is a creative studio for social media, servicing the world’s top 0.01% of brands.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer with exceptional knowledge of the social media landscape.

We attract a certain type of brand client — those that rely on us to connect them to culture through content and use our expert knowledge to help them navigate the new ecosystem of social media platforms.

OK COOL works directly with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitch on social strategies for their key projects, alongside campaigns for cultural powerhouses like Nike, Mr Porter, Bumble, Tag Heuer, Spotify, COS.

As a Graphic Designer at OK COOL you are the go-to person to produce high quality, forward-thinking and culturally relevant social media assets for our diverse client base, according to their brand guidelines and social media brand aesthetic. You are a highly visual creative; producing graphics that best display the visual aspects of social assets on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. Drawing on your knowledge of social media trends and popular culture, you’ll work with our creative team in developing concepts for social posts and contributing to visual execution.

Below is a list of duties and responsibilities of a Graphic Designer:

• Produce stand-out graphic design

Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Study design briefs and determine requirements
Manage and schedule your time to answer briefs
Prepare drafts and moodboards and present ideas
High attention to detail regarding layout, typography and iconography
Collaborate with the creative team in the visual execution of creative ideas
Test graphics across various platforms and identify what receives the most engagement for particular clients
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Ability to absorb brand guidelines and using your creativity, elevate them for social content
Ability to further skills in motion graphics, animation
Ability to stay abreast of emerging technologies like augmented reality which you can utilise to create engaging experiences
Keep up to date with the latest trends in design and apply these to client work

Skills Required:

• Fluent in Ps, Ai, Id

Working knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Suite
Working knowledge of Google slides
Experience in creating content for brands on digital and social media platforms
Understanding of how social platforms operate (TikTok, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter)
High attention to detail regarding layout, typography and iconography
Knowledge of various formats and delivery specifications
Exceptional visual eye and an understanding of how technology, the arts and pop culture impact advertising and online trends
Ability to listen well, process feedback, explain the design elements of the content you create
