Position Overview & Specifications

The role:
As the Head of Learning your role is to lead the planning and implementation of NXTLVL’s learning principles, establish a clear and purposeful learning platform, curriculum, content, structure and sessions. We are looking for someone to play an active role in the strategic development of NXTLVL as a concept and take full ownership for the quality of the material delivered. This role reports directly to the founders and works closely with Game Design, Facilitation and Marketing teams.


What you‘ll do:

  • Define pedagogy, curriculum framework, session structures and programme development as per the NXTLVL vision.

  • Overall responsibility for the quality of the NXTLVL programme delivery from defining the Pedagogy, Learning Objectives and measuring their impact.

  • Work side by side with talented learning experts, game designers, software engineers, and product managers to bring research-informed product features to life.

  • Working together with the Head of Facilitation and assisting in training and managing the performance of the NXTLVL facilitators.

  • Help communicate the science behind the NXTLVL methodology to our users (children) customers (parents), partners and a wider audience.

  • Provide input to new product initiatives to enhance the children’s engagement and learning.


You have:

  • A strong passion and experience for children's education, particularly in the areas of soft skills and mental models.

  • Masters/Phd in Education or other relevant field.

  • >5 Years of Experience as Academic / Curriculum design within an edtech company or renowned educational institution.

  • Deep knowledge of Pedagogical and Educational Programme design.

  • Willingness to be flexible switching among initiatives depending on the project team needs as well as work independently and on teams.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Leadership and mentoring skills.


Nice-to-have

  • Experience at early-stage/ fast-growing edtech startup.

  • Experience with game-based learning and remote facilitation.

  • Passionate about preparing our kids for an unpredictable future!
