Position Overview & Specifications
This is an exciting role and will mean the post holder joins a network of dieticians working with Eating Disorder Services and across CAMHS in-patients, Mental Health, Learning Disability & Forensic settings within the Trust.
The post holder will work as a fully autonomous practitioner whilst working in collaboration and having the support of the MDT. You will work within the community CAMHS Eating Disorder Service to ensure continuity and consistency of dietetic care for Children & Young people with a range of eating disorders. This will involve providing nutritional and dietetic information, clinical advice and direct therapeutic support to CYP & their families/carers accessing CAMHS. Alongside this the role will also be offering consultation, training, liaison and advice to colleagues and the wider network.
You will be supported by the Trust's dietetic professional lead and other specialist eating disorder dietetic peers within the service.
A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Providing nutritional and dietetic assessment, information, clinical advice and therapeutic support and treatment to children and families accessing Community CAMHS Eating Disorder Service who have difficulties relating to their eating (including Anorexia, Bulimia and ARFID)
To support and contribute the ongoing service developements
To offer training, supervision and consultation to the MDT regarding dietetics and nutrition
To promote an innovative and progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research, audit, evidence-based practice and contribution to ongoing service development.
