Position Overview & Specifications

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, between 8am and 6pm, Including 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £19,554 per annum + up to £1,200 bonus per annum! With a progression scheme to increase your salary up to £23,500

Location: Darlington, with possibility of doing hybrid working after successful completion of probation

Northgate’s Customer Support Team is growing and we have an exciting opportunity to join our busy, highly valued team in Darlington as a Customer Service Representative. With a responsibility for data entry, submitting payments via an inhouse system, raising invoices and communicating with issuing bodies and the police as well as attending court with charge certificates and order of recoveries that need to be witnessed and signed, this role offers so much opportunity for learning and building on skills.

Operating in a business-to-business environment, you will be a highly motivated member of the team. You will share our departmental values to assist across all functions and ensure we achieve all of our KPI’s. You will have an appetite to learn, a proactive approach to support in various workstreams, a positive outlook and an ability to use your own initiative and take ownership to provide solution to problems.

A key attribute for success is the ability to effectively manage various customer requests as well as providing a high level of service to all stakeholders, both internal and external. Your core values will demonstrate keeping our customers at the forefront of every transaction and providing updates throughout. You will achieve this by striving for a one touch resolution, picking up the phone and reinforcing our culture of being people talking to people.
