YARD OPERATIVE

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: South Ockendon, Essex

Salary: £10.42 Per Hour (weekly pay)

Hours are : 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday

THE JOB:

This is a physical role it will involve some lifting, so will need to be physically fit, and someone who doesn’t mind getting stuck in and getting dirty, this is an outside role so you will need to be able to work in all weathers and be used to working outside.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• General Yard duties.
• Helping to move equipment to correct areas within the yard.
• Tidy the yard and sweep particular areas.
• Load and unload equipment from lorries.
• Stock control checking.
• This can be a bit of a dirty job and applicants must be happy to get stuck in.

THE PERSON:

Skills and experience:

• Must be physically fit due to nature of work.
• You will be responsible for stock control and product maintenance and servicing equipment once fully trained.
• Ensure that the housekeeping of the yard is to ta high standard, and that all materials and equipment is stored correctly.
• Have good organization skills.
• Must be happy to work outside.

PPE, Safety boots, and Hi-vis to be worn at all times on site.

This role is a temp-permanent position depending on performance and attendance levels.
