Bench Jeweler / Goldsmith

We are seeking an experienced bench jeweler / goldsmith.

Full time and part time positions available.

Our studio specializes in custom design, as well as restoration and quality repair work. A typical days work will include finishing castings and setting gems, as well as performing all types of repairs and alterations.

Your compensation will depend on your experience and abilities, $28-$50 per hour. We offer paid holidays and sick days for everyone, as well as accrued paid time off for full time employees.

We would ask for a bench test to gauge your skills before offering you a position. Our hours are Tuesday - Friday 10AM – 6PM and Saturday 9:30AM – 5PM. Closed on Sunday and Monday.

Responsibilities and duties may include:

• Finishing castings of custom designs and setting gemstones
• All manner of repair work such as: chain soldering, ring sizing, tennis bracelet repair, reshanking, rhodium plating, stone tightening, etc
• General shop cleaning and maintenance

Requirements and qualifications:

• You must have 3-5 Years experience
• Possess good communication skills
• An ability to work with set deadlines
• An ability to receive constructive feedback
• You must be reliable
• Background check and drug screening required
