Dietetic Assistant (Ref: 146184)
Fixed term for 12 months, Part Time – 30 hours per week
Band 3, - Salary Range £25,468 - £27,486 per annum (pro-rata)
Plus Distant Island Allowance of £2,256 per annum (pro rata)
We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and imaginative individual to join our busy Nutrition and Dietetic Service. Based in Lerwick, with some travel to other bases, this is an excellent opportunity to work in service with a strong focus on patient-centred care and continuous improvement.
You will support the dietitians in the planning and delivery of evidence-based nutrition and dietetic service provision, including the general administration of the department, collating of clinical and non-clinical information relating to patients and delivery of training to healthcare and non-healthcare professionals. We are looking for candidates with good general organisational and administrative skills and a knowledge and understanding of healthy eating principles.
This contract is for a fixed-term for 12 months. The reason for the fixed-term contract is to allow for ongoing workforce planning and review of establishment.
