Next Stage 4 Life Ltd is a growing company of 8 homes with an OFSTED rating of 'Good'. The Registered Children’s homes are looking to provide the best quality of care to the young people residing with us. We care for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties ranging from 7-17 years of age. Our young people enjoy spending time on a 1.1 basis. You will need to engage in meaningful activities that the child or young person enjoys such as Lego building, going to the park, swimming, theme parks and holidays etc. As a growing company we can provide lots of opportunity for progression to our employees. Our aim is to motivate and support our employees to develop skills, knowledge and experience through personal development plans, regular supervisions and appraisals. We have recently introduced new incentives and bonus’ for staff who are demonstrating their dedication and outstanding delivery of care to our young people.

Details of the post:

The role will be a shift working position and will include sleep-ins and on calls.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.90 - £11.70 per hour per plus sleep-ins and on calls.

· Responsible to the Registered Manager and Assistant Manager

· Responsible for providing an outstanding quality of care in line with the Children’s home Regulations and Quality Standards

· Supporting the management team in motivating and developing the staff team.

· Building and maintaining appropriate positive relationships with young people, outside agencies/ professionals and colleagues.

· Managing challenging behaviour and conflict with positive outcomes

· Following company policies and procedures

· Ensuring your daily support is safe, consistent, planned, reliable and on-time.

Desired Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce or a willingness to complete the above qualification.

Desired Experience: Previous experience working with children and young people however we will accept candidates without prior experience as full training is given.

Requirements: Full Driving License, Business Insurance will be required on your insurance if your application is successful.
