Location Newcastle under Lyme College
Full-time and full year contract (Monday to Friday working week)
Salary £20,730 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join our catering department at Newcastle College working in the Starbucks Coffee Shop.

We are looking for a passionate, experienced Supervisor to join us here at the Newcastle College campus Starbucks Coffee Shop. Our Coffee Shop Supervisors are responsible for inspiring and leading our genuine and talented team in delivering great experiences to all of our customers.

As a Supervisor you will be the team leader inspiring the team every day, keeping customer service at the heart of everything you do.

In addition to this you will undertake the following:

• Acting as a team leader by coaching and supporting the team to deliver an excellent customer service, while ensuring all procedures are followed, taking the lead on each work day.
• Manage the day to day operations of the unit, carrying out health and safety checks, food safety checks, cleanliness and drive understanding and importance of the Starbucks Audit checks.
• Maintaining accurate stock levels, ordering and daily cashing up procedures.

Required Skills and Experience

• You will have a passion for leading others and a desire to take on shared responsibility because as we known it is all about working as a team, and of course you will really love delivering amazing coffee.
• Previous Supervisor/Team Leader experience in a very fast- paced environment is essential and a fully trained Starbucks employee would also be a great advantage.
• A passion for coffee, customers and colleagues.
• Possesses a Level 2 In Food Safety & Catering.
• Ability to embrace challenges in a fast-paced, team driven environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and keeping our customers in the heart of everything that we do.
• Flexible approach and can-do attitude, as each day can offer exciting new challenges.
