New Rickstones Academy is graded ‘Good’ (May 2018) and has a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff. Over the last 7 years the academy has seen a huge increase in student numbers, with the number of students on roll more than doubling. The academy is now oversubscribed and our new build, which opened September 2022 further to meet this demand. New Rickstones Academy is a great place to work with a friendly and supportive staff team. Staff numbers have also increased and the academy is proud to boast high staff retention rates. Staff development is a priority with an extensive and hugely successful CPD (Continuing Professional Development) program to further develop our excellent staff.

We are looking for a Midday Assistant due to an internal promotion to support the safety, welfare and good conduct of the students during the midday break in designated areas and to assist with cleaning in and around dining areas. The successful candidate will have experience of general cleaning activities and knowledge of how to maintain a safe working environment.

You will be friendly, confident and proactive. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build good relationships. With staff and students.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 1.10pm - 2.10pm. The role is due to start February 2023.
