Boatbuilder - Perm - Hampshire

Navis Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a Boatbuilder with an eye for detail and a pride in quality craftmanship to join a world class Yacht Building company in Southampton. Our client has built-up a solid reputation within the marine industry and are recognised as one of the leading boat builders in the UK.

We are looking for both interior and exterior Boatbuilders to produce luxury yachts alongside a highly skilled team.

Ideally, we are looking for experienced boatbuilders with at least 2 years in a similar role

• Reading and interpreting drawings
• Fitting ply bulkheads
• Cladding bulkheads
• Fitting various fibreglass components
• Some basic upholstery / vinyl work
• Fitting a variety of boat furniture
• Assembly of steering and propulsion systems.
• Fitting keels
• Skin fittings
• Deck gear and teak deck installation
• Window, portlight and hatch Installation

• Southampton, Hampshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Boat Building: 4 years (preferred)
• Carpentry: 6 years (preferred)

• United Kingdom (required)
