The Role
We are seeking an IT Administrator to join the National Education Group team, to provide IT support for our staff and management of our IT equipment.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills to support the National College team, which couples a cutting-edge learning experience platform, with continuously evolving relevant course products to enable remote continuous professional development and certification for educators in over 40,000 schools.
As IT Administrator you will be responsible for supporting internal user equipment from a hardware and user support perspective, ensuring office networks are available, and managing our cloud accounts.
What You’ll Do
- Provide in person IT drop-in support for permanent and visiting staff in our Sheffield office, and remote support for our remote workers
- Provide support in specifying, ordering, preparation and deployment of laptops, IT equipment and peripherals
- Inventory management of company hardware and software assets
- Manage the office networks and IT equipment in our two UK sites
- Administer Office 365 and access to other SaaS product accounts, supported by our Microsoft partner
- Onboard and support new staff and train existing staff on our internal systems
- Roll out IT best practice changes across the business
About You
- At least 3 years hands-on experience with enterprise IT support
- Extensive IT support skills with knowledge of end user devices and network equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- High proficiency in end-user Microsoft applications including Windows 10/11, with some MacOS experience a benefit too
- Self-motivated and professional, and able to communicate effectively
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration, including Azure user management
- Enthusiastic and organised approach, with strong customer service skills
About the position
- Primarily based in our Sheffield office at least 3 days per week

Salary: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
