Position Overview & Specifications

Nasdaq's Internship Program provides outstanding opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience during a 10-week summer internship (2023). We believe in learning by doing, that’s why our Interns work on real-world projects and tasks that impact our business, together with Nasdaq employees and senior colleagues worldwide. You will acquire new skills and experiences which you can share with other interns across our Global intern community. We strive for a diverse and fun workplace, where all of us feel like the work we do makes a difference.
Nasdaq will invest in your development, introducing you to senior leaders, offering you a mentor and participating in professional development activities. Career acceleration is core to Nasdaq's culture; our intention is to offer our interns opportunities to stay on beyond the summer, either in a part time role parallel to your studies or for your master thesis fellowship. All of our intern roles are paid.
In London we are looking for an intern that is interested in research, to join our Anti-Financial Crime team.
What you will bring:
  • Studying in a masters or PhD program with a strong research focus either in social science, data science, economics, business or finance. Graduating in 2024.
  • Curiosity and interest in technology, finance, financial crime, behavioural science or behavioural analytics paired with strong qualitative and/or quantitative research skills.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate closely with your team and other stakeholders.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Contribution to our Nasdaq culture and values.

It would be great if you have:
  • Experience conducting research and analysis in real-world settings.
  • Some experience using R or Python for data analysis.

This role is at our London office, a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, in the heart of City of London. Around 190 employees from across different Nasdaq teams currently work together in sales as well as developing Nasdaq's tech.
About the process
