Live in Nanny

A lovely family in Forest Hill are looking for a full-time live-in nanny for their baby boy who will be 9 months old when the role starts this coming September.

The little one is very sociable, loves anything musical, and is super keen on becoming more mobile!

An ideal candidate would have great baby experience, be developmentally focused, and confident in engaging the child through constant communication and age-appropriate activities. As the mother is a single parent, it is paramount that the nanny can be flexible in case of any emergencies or last-minute changes, is completely reliable, and can just generally accommodate the family’s needs. Furthermore, the household is strictly vegetarian, and consequently necessary that the nanny is comfortable with this requirement and is confident cooking healthy vegetarian meals for both baby and mother.

A typical day would be a 7am start, breakfast for the baby, outdoor exploration - trips to the playground and farm, classes – music and swimming, nap and story time, light housekeeping – meal prep, grocery shopping, general tidying of the common living space and personal bedroom/bathroom, helping the baby to reach his milestones, and implementing a more structured routine as it’s currently touch and go, with a 7pm finish!

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm (babysitting 2 nights per week)

Start date: Early September

Salary: £600-£700 per week gross

• Forest Hill, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Nannying: 3 years (preferred)
• childcare: 1 year (preferred)
