myenergi Ltd is a young, progressive, innovative and fast-growing company with its HQ born and based right here in Stallingborough, with subsidiaries based in Germany, Benelux, Northern Ireland, Australia and ambitions to open facilities right across the world. We specialise in the design and manufacture of ground-breaking renewable-energy technology products.

As myenergi’s Energy Markets Lead – you will report into myenergi’s Strategy & Innovation Director.
You will be an important part of a new, and fast-paced team; responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams in shaping, developing and executing strategic projects from inception to delivery.
Acting as a resource across different functions at myenergi by injecting your energy market expertise throughout our work, supporting teams with problem solving, analysis, and strategic thinking
Using your insight to help shape our ongoing flexibility strategy; identifying opportunities, value pools, routes to market, and executing our strategic energy markets roadmap for the UK and beyond.

Responsibilities:

The Strategy Manager is responsible for identifying, shaping and running complex, multi-disciplinary programmes of work to shape myenergi’s strategy.
Bringing together crucial pieces of information such as competitor performance, operational performance, product innovations, regulation and market change from various internal and external sources to develop strategic options
Owning our interaction with the wider energy system; including but not limited to energy market regulators, energy retailers, energy networks and demand-side response providers.
Taking ownership of, and executing, myenergi’s flexibility strategy.
Use insight to make recommendations and to shape our approach across a spectrum of programmes and initiatives (including pricing, acquisition, growth, product and service roadmaps).
Owning and delivering various business cases for change in the business.
Sharing your insight through forecasts, financial models, written reports and presentations at all levels and with exposure to all teams in the business.
Acting as a resource for various functions in the business to support with programme delivery, problem solving and analysis.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Able to balance varied workloads, prioritise and to independently problem solve.
Comfortable with fast, data-driven decision making in a way that delivers actionable recommendations.
A hunger for getting things done and achieving results that deliver real impact.
A confident communicator – through written work, presentations and verbally.
Passionate about the environment, technology, energy and what we’re trying to achieve as a business.

Qualifications and Experience:
An ambitious consultant in a top-tier strategy firm operating with the energy sector, or with a working knowledge of proposition development, regulation, pricing or trading within an energy retail, network or supply business.
Demonstrable experience running and delivering complex, multidisciplinary programmes of work.
A comprehensive understanding of energy market structures, retail energy / wholesale energy pricing,
Educated to Degree level in a mathematics, economics, business, engineering or other relevant scientific or analytical discipline.
Fluency in low-carbon energy technologies is essential.
