Dog Groomer

We are looking for an experienced, confident stylist to join our friendly salon team.

My Dog Barber is a unique salon for dogs, bringing style and a fresh approach to the industry. Our purpose built, open-plan salons were deigned to create a city centre style, luxury salon for dogs. Our salons are located in Low Fell, Chester le Street and now our brand new salon in Blaydon.

We strive to provide a supportive, friendly, relaxed and personal working environment. Our team of dog stylists have a combined experience of over 100 years, so there is always somebody on hand to support and advise.

We are looking for a stylist to join our existing team. The ideal candidate should be confident with dogs and able to deliver both pet and breed style trims to a high standard. Previous salon-based experience or nationally recognised training are essential, although we welcome applications from anybody who requires some additional development from our in-house trainer.

Customer care is extremely important to us so the ideal candidate should be friendly, customer focused and a great communicator. You should be able to work unsupervised, both alone and as part of a team.
