Position Overview & Specifications
We are seeking both front of House and Back of House staff for a new restaurant / wine venue in Llandaff. This is a small family run business that will operate both a restaurant and wine pop-up shop. It comprises of a small seating area and bar, as well as a beer garden. We are currently undergoing renovations but seek to employ and train staff from the last week of April 2023.
We have multiple positions to fill. The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, so hours are available in shifts. Availability for weekends and/or nights is a must . We are accepting both full time and part time applications, and applications from people of all backgrounds - but candidates must be 18 years or older to satisfy our licensing requirements.
The job offers between 10 - 40 hours a week at a rate of £10 -11 a hour plus tronc.
Front of House requirements:
As a member of the front of house team, we are looking for friendly and confident individuals to run the bar, greet and serve restaurant guests, and assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant. One year experience in a bar or waitering position would be preferred - but full training will be provided. An interest in wine or experience working in wine retail or hospitality will be a big plus. Staff may occasionally be needed to assist with retail sales from the wine pop-up shop.
Back of House requirements:
As a member of the back of house team, you will be required to prepare food, and create and plate dishes for our guests, while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen. You will required to have a minimum one year experience in a kitchen or catering environment, but full training will be provided.
