Position
JOB MISSION
- Fuel excitement on MHUK Champagne Brands in the UK market
- Animate the Trade and lead Education: Trainings, Tastings and Event hosting
- Develop strong network in the Trade
- Be the “face of” the Champagne in the UK among the trade and consumers
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Education: Train customers on Champagne category and Moet Hennessy brands
- Set up and deliver trainings on Champagne category and MH brands, beyond and above Account Manager training
- Be part of key trips to Maison and support hosting customers
- Support Commercial Teams to leverage Winemaker visits
Experiences: Organise and host consumer’s events
- Set up and deliver consumers tastings / events on Moet Hennessy Champagne Portfolio
- Craft exceptional Champagne experiences for consumers in partnership with customers
- Support all D2C (Clos 19, Corporate, Retail, Private Sales, Sponsorships & Partnerships) teams by crafting experiences for new and existing consumers / clients.
Develop network in the trade
- Develop & maintain a customer and trade influencer database
- Have ‘first-hand’ information and share it with commercial teams to leverage business opportunities
Support Commercial teams: focusing on On-Trade: London and flagship regional accounts and Off Trade
- Be supportive and help sales team to win prospects accounts
- Report on achievements/ next steps/ update on projects through internal tools
- Support Off trade with key customers through tastings and trade event hosting
- Support with Champagne innovations and new vintages launches
Be a key player in education within MHUK
- In collaboration with the Spirits Ambassador and Wines Ambassador, launch and engage MHUK with new tools launched by Global Education team
- Manage internal trainings. Coach closely each newcomer
Profile
CANDIDATE’S PROFILE
- Degree level education
- A first significant experience in Sales / Marketing / Hospitality
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Strong Champagne and Wines knowledge
- Knowledge & network within the hospitality sector: Hotels, Restaurants, Bars
- Strong understanding of MHUK Champagne brands and luxury universe
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Ability to network and engage
- Business acumen and astute to create and leverage opportunities
- Good organizational and time management skills
Personal & interpersonal skills:
- Excellent communication, able to engage when tell brand stories, and relationship building skills
- Strong creativity to think out of the box and develop new ideas
