Job Title: Merchandising Admin Assistant Reports to: Merchandise Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Summary: The Merchandising Admin Assistant is responsible for the allocation administration of product for both the Retail and Wholesale business to meet merchandising targets and to support with the daily, weekly, and ad hoc administration tasks. You will need to have strong communication skills liaising with other functions of the business such as the Buying, Wholesale, Accounts, Suppliers, and the third-party Warehouse team.
Includes but is not limited to;
Pre-Season:
- Assist Buying raising orders for Wholesale, Retail & Department Stores and sending to suppliers to meet expected delivery dates
- Prepare the delivery schedule for Wholesale, Retail & Department Stores to use as a working document to monitor deliveries with suppliers and communicate to the wider business
- Maintain customer details and prepare the Wholesale dispatch file to ensure accurate allocation to customers. Work with Accounts to ensure accurate invoicing.
- Enter expected deliveries by Channel into the Torque Portal to enable Torque to receipt goods
- Ensure expected deliveries and demand are communicated to Torque (Warehouse) to plan workload for the current Trading Season. Provide the next rolling 8 weeks by day/channel.
In-Season:
- Produce and distribute trade reports such as Best Sellers, Category and Sales by Channel on a weekly basis
- Maintain the delivery schedule ensuring deliveries are on time by engaging with suppliers.
Communicate with Assistant Merchandiser/Merchandise Manager to agree actions.
- Maintain supplier’s debits/returns list for Accounts ensuring accounts are maintained
- Ensure Wholesale/Department Store stock is dispatched in a timely and cost-effective way and summarise weekly dispatch to Accounts
- Allocate stock to stores according to the distribution plan using both system tools and manual pushes
- Be the point of contact for wholesale dispatch queries and re-orders.
- Work with Assistant Merchandiser/Merchandise Manager to identify Retail excess stocks to offer to wholesale customers
- Ensure Wholesale excess stocks and samples are allocated to Retail stores in a timely manner
- Action seasonal recodes as communicated by the Merchandise Manager
- Process seasonal markdowns and communicate to stores and wholesale
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
