Position Overview & Specifications

Post: Receptionist Administrator

Salary: Grade 3, Point 5; £21,575 to Point 6; £21,968 gross per annum pro rata

Actual Annual Salary: £18,453-£18,790 (Under 5 Years of Service)

Contract: Temporary, Full-time, 37 hours per week, 39 working weeks

Start date: As soon as possible

Minerva Learning Trust is an expanding Sheffield based multi-academy Trust with a vision of providing outstanding education for all the students within our schools. The Trust is passionate that all students should see their time at school as happy and fulfilling with their potential developed to the utmost. Ecclesfield School joined the Trust in December 2017 and, as a sponsored academy, is developing this partnership and making rapid improvements for our students and community.

We are seeking to appoint a Receptionist Administrator on a temporary contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming all visitors and dealing with enquiries, in person, via the telephone and e-mail. Experience of working in a busy reception/office environment is essential. You will be the face of our school providing a professional service to staff, families and their children. We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team to ensure the highest delivery of service. The successful candidate will join an exceptional team of support and administration staff. Teamwork and the community are at the heart of what we do.

The successful candidate will be expected to join our team of trained First Aiders. Working alongside the Medical Support Officer you will assist in the provision of whole school first aid, including first aid treatment for students and staff. Full training will be provided and an allowance of £104 per annum (pro-rata) paid in recognition of these additional duties.
