About the role.

We are an early stage team looking for a frontend development leader to come in and take complete ownership of your dev requirements. Execution is everything and we want you to get an understanding of Midas and feel confident building a team around you. As one of our first hires, you will play an integral part in shaping the future of the product and the company.

This is role will begin part-time with the potential to transition to full-time. Compensation based on experience.

Responsibilities.

• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement new features and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the platform.

Requirements.

• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (TypeScript), HTML and CSS.
• At least 2 years of experience with React.
• Able to turn UX/UI designs and wireframes into responsive, user-friendly, accessible web applications with high code quality.
• Using version control and ensuring proper testing and QA.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to have.

• Experience and/or interest in React-Native or mobile app development would be a big plus.
• You have previous experience in fintech / payments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• You are product oriented, pragmatic executor and able to weigh-up the need to validate features and build out a first version before digging in too deeply.

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: £20,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
