  • To work within the Outcomes Star framework (training will be given)
  • To assist young people in completing actions as identified in their support plan/risk assessment (i.e. help with claiming benefits, dealing with tenancy issues, finding employment training or education, registering with GP, Dentist, optician etc).
  • To provide emotional and practical support to young people in their daily lives and any issues which may arise.
  • To work through the ‘Get Ready for Adult Life’ programme with young people and complete practical tasks with them where necessary (e.g. cooking, shopping, facilitate group activities).

  • To address wider support needs and encourage opportunities for personal development and achievement within The Every Child Matters outcomes framework.
  • To accompany young people on visits in the community or visit at their home address on a regular basis
  • To assist young people in making timely benefits claims and to monitor/intervene in ongoing claims as needed
  • To support young people in making asylum claims/attending Home Office appointments.

We are offering: Hours: Flexible hours. These hours can be worked flexibly to fit around the young people's schedules. Daytime availability is essential to attend meetings etc. However, some evening availability is needed to meet with young people after college etc.

You will be joining a friendly and progressive company who believes in professionalism at all levels of operations. You will be offered regular training and supervision. This is an excellent opportunity to join new service provision in the Oxford area and have a chance to grow with the company.
