Overview

The client I am working with is a well renowned multidisciplinary consultancy that offers sustainable solutions to their clients to achieve a more climate resilient business model. They are seeking a passionate Environmental Consultant to join their team in London. By joining their dynamic team you will have the opportunity to provide a growing list of clients with strategic advise to enable them to determine, manage and act on environmental risks relating to their business.

This exciting position offers a great opportunity for growth within the team as you will be able to develop your own expertise with further training.

Role Responsibilities

As the environmental consultant you will be responsible for researching and summarizing guidance documents on topics including climate change, ESG and sustainability. You will support clients align with UK environmental legislation and keep up to date with emerging changes. You will work on a variety of projects that include focus areas of due diligence and identifying key investment risks relating to climate change and resilience planning.

Profile

• A university degree in environmental science/ engineering
• Knowledge of environmental legislation, guidance, and standards
• Interest in ESG, climate change and resilience planning
• 6 months - 1 year experience working in an environmental/ sustainability related role preferably in consulting, industrial or commercial sector.
