Position Overview & Specifications

Software Developer Apprentice - Corsham (SNL13)

  • £15,600 per annum
  • 25 days annual leave with the option to buy and sell up to 5 additional days per year

We’re looking for a Software Developer Apprentice to join our Software Development team in Corsham. You’ll be offered the opportunity to gain the skills required to design and develop effected code in an exciting technical environment.

You’ll support us by

  • Analysing, designing and developing applications
  • The production and execution of unit tests
  • Collection and development of representative test data
  • Carrying out code reviews
  • logging observations for assessment
  • Complying with Company policies and procedures
  • Adhering to the MASS values.
  • Supporting with automated testing
  • Support with process automation

Requirements:

  • Level 2 in Math's and English (or equivalent GCSE or O level)
  • UK passport

We’re looking for individuals who have:

  • Basic analytical skills in an operational and/or system process
  • Worked within clearly defined standards and procedures and adheres to guidelines.
  • Worked with close supervision.
  • Good decision-making abilities outside of routine situations requires escalation.
  • A desire to start a career within Software Development
  • A desire to broaden your technical skills and to understand key Software Development concepts and techniques.

Due to the highly secure nature of the projects, you will be involved with, you must be eligible to work in the UK and be eligible to undergo and maintain UK government DV Security Clearance.
