Meet Marugame! Japan's favourite Sanuki udon kitchen taking the UK by storm!

We offer freshly made udon noodles and freshly fried tempura in a quick counter service restaurant. Just grab a tray and place your order - you'll see it prepared in front on your eyes in moments!

There are 1,250 Marugames globally (Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, USA to name a few). We currently have nine restaurants across London - with a further ten openings across the UK in 2023!

We’re super busy and provide an exciting high-growth environment internally. Our ambitions are far reaching – we’re opening 150 locations across Europe in the next few years.

As a Marugame Brand Ambassador you will be a valued asset to our Marketing team. You will be responsible for introducing Marugame to new customers, signing up new customers to the Marugame Club and performing market research tasks for us!

You'll be working beside the restaurants and around the community to meet potential new customers.

You'll work across all of our centrally located established restaurants (Including: Liverpool Street, Oxford Circus, Bromley, Waterloo, Reading, The O2, Canary Wharf). And assisting

Explaining to the public what Marugame is with the many new openings coming up in the future. Inviting new customers to join the club to get a free foody welcome gift and to come in and try us.

You will need to be a bold outgoing people-person. You'll be comfortable introducing yourself to strangers! You'll be on your feet all day, and likely to be outside a lot of the time (we will provide you with warm branded clothing). You are likely to be studying marketing, advertising, hospitality management or performing arts.

On occasion you may be asked to take part in additional marketing tasks to support the wider marketing team.

Note: £11.40 per hour OTE including commission - You will receive 20p per member you sign up to the Marugame Club. £9.50 base hourly rate ... Sign up more club members and watch your commission come in!

Full uniform will be provided | You'll get free team meal for every shift| Whilst shift patterns can we flexible based upon your availability as an example you might work 3 x 4 hour shifts per week* (11:30-3:30, 3:30-8:00). (Days of the week may vary likely to be Thursday, Friday, Saturday) | When you work outside of zone 6 you will be entitled to claim travel expenses. (*you may be required to work different patterns around new openings).
