We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic plumber to work as part of our Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and support their team.

Main purpose of the job: To assist in carrying out plumbing installations, plumbing maintenance and repairs

Responsible to: Construction and Maintenance Director, Maintenance Manager and Senior Plumbing Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Installing & maintaining domestic water systems
• Maintaining and installing sanitation systems
• Fitting domestic appliances
• Emergency plumbing repairs & general plumbing
• Diagnose and carry out reactive maintenance tasks including associated plumbing works to bathroom and kitchen installations, rainwater goods and below ground drainage
• To keep good record of work undertaken and good record of installations
• To carry out visual checks in vacant properties – to assist in reporting findings back to management.

Knowledge and Skills

• NVQ level 2 plumbing skills
• Basic carpentry, tiling and mastic skills
• Basic IT skills, including Word, Excel spreadsheets, ability to email and access websites, as well as navigate basic software
• Written English to GCSE grade C
• Fluent accurate spoken English
• Full clean drivers license

About the Company

Established in 1895 as a building contractor the Marstons maintenance team now looks after the company owned property portfolio. Still in family ownership Fulham based Marston Properties develops and lets residential and commercial property within a 5 mile radius of its yard and offices in South West London.

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
