Marina Operative

Marina Developments Ltd is the UK’s leading Marina operator. Situated in Poole Harbour, Cobbs Quay Marina is an extremely busy and high profile visitor destination we aim to deliver the highest level of service and experience for our members and customers; demanding the very best from our team every day.

To help us deliver exceptional service we are seeking to recruit a Marina Operative to assist with marina operations at Cobbs Quay Marina.

You will be passionate about providing the best possible levels of customer service and will put the customer’s needs first every time. You will deliver an outstanding customer experience; exceeding expectations on a daily basis. This is a full time position working on a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, 12 hours per shift, supporting the boat yard and Dry Stack activities.

The prime tasks and responsibilities for this role are:

• Regular patrols of the site.
• To carry our checks to ensure the safety and security of the vessels, buildings and people within the site boundaries.
• To provide a meet and greet service to customers.
• To be responsible as part of the team for all berthing allocations of vessels.
• To carry out health and safety checks as required.
• Serve fuel to berth holders and visitors.
• To carry out routine maintenance as required.
• Assisting in actively marketing and promoting the marina and associated services.

The key requirements of this role are:

• An ability to deliver the highest standards of customer service.
• Self motivated and able to work without of supervision.
• Computer literate.
• Enthusiastic and friendly, with a can do attitude.
• Ability to swim.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £21,162.96 per year

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability
