Position Overview & Specifications
We are a community arts group based in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire and have been running creative classes for children and young people aged 5 – 18 since 2012.
We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to join us as an assistant tutor in our Needlecraft & Sewing Skills Class for children and young people age 8+. (Monday evenings 7:00 – 8:15pm)
Applicants should have a good knowledge of knitting, sewing, crocheting etc. must be passionate about teaching and have creative ideas to engage students.
No formal qualifications required. Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal background check.
Assistant tutors receive £15 per session.
Job Types: Part-time, Volunteer
Part-time hours: 1.5 per week
Salary: £10.00 per hour
