Project: Research and biopharmaceutical sector ranging from managing global property portfolios and business case development to construction delivery, fit-out commission and hand-over.
This is a new role supporting the pharmaceutical and technology business unit in our consult engine.
Due to a period of growth we are looking to appoint an Engineering Co-ordinator.
Your responsibilities will include:
Participating and coordinating design reviews, safety studies, GMP reviews and constructability assessments to shape the design and planning process.
Ensuring appropriate GSC Engineering Technical Authority approval is gained at all stage gate reviews to aid the progression of projects and BAU activity.
Co-ordinating downtime and any interruptions with the business area, and oversight of commissioning and validation activities.
Liaising with and management of stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Managing all resource requests related to projects from the relevant contractor.
Managing all technical queries related to the project with the relevant contractor and escalating where applicable.
Facilitating bi-weekly project calls to review and manage technical documentation.
Performing ad-hoc analysis and tasks as requested.
Contributing improvement activities and suggest opportunities for improvement.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant EHS, Quality and Site procedures.
Supporting the coordination, planning, and management of internal and external stakeholder meetings.
Building positive working relationships across the stakeholder groups.
About you
Due to the technical nature of this roles, the successful candidate will have a background in engineering; chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
