Position Overview & Specifications

Located in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, Macdonald Aviemore Resort includes three luxurious hotels and 18 woodland lodges, as well as restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, a cinema, a leisure centre and spa, championship golf course and other facilities, so it's the perfect place for a holiday. As a Macdonald’s Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding experience to all our guests. You should have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach, and a willingness to exceed our guest’s expectations. Operating on the front line, you are a real ambassador of our company and are committed to consistently delivering high standards.

Using your existing experience, you will be working closely with the kitchen and front of house team to deliver our core standards and provide our guests with a great stay every time.

We are looking for a hardworking and passionate individual with a hands-on approach, motivation and ambition as well as a passion for food and service. Conference and Event experience is also essential.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Lead, train and develop a team of staff
  • Manage all Conference and Event requirements from setting up to service
  • Meet set targets
  • Creating a welcoming environment for customers
  • Ensuring consistent, high-quality service at all times
  • Dealing with customer feedback
  • Ensure cash procedures are adhered too and strictly monitored

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience

This position will include shifts working Saturday and Sunday. Additional hours may be required to support the hotel during our busier periods, including bank holidays.
