Quality Inspector

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join our team at M J Allen in our All Wheel Drive section.

The successful candidate will be part of a team which is responsible for ensuring that manufactured products meet all customers drawing requirements, and that we are able to maintain the deadline of our customer demand.

Quality Inspector Position Overview

· Help support calibration of lab equipment to sustain ISO 9001.

· Work with the production and quality team to schedule work through the department, reducing bottlenecks wherever necessary.

· Perform regular quality checks of components using electronic measuring equipment CMM's, length measuring equipment plus various slips and gauge blocks.

· Reading technical drawings and quality procedures to comprehend the quality expectations for the product.

· Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and report any that do not meet requirements.

· Raise any areas of concern regarding quality performance with the Quality Lead and management team.

· Capture measurements accurately and record results.

· This is an alternating shift position with an early and late shift.

Quality Inspector Position Requirements

· Previous experience and qualifications would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.

· Utilize various aspects of Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word.

Quality Inspector Position Remuneration

· Salary negotiable dependent upon skill, experience and qualifications.

Shift position with 12.5% uplift on basic rate.
