Bakery Packing Operative

We are looking to recruit a Bakery Packing Operative to join our bakery team, at our food production facility in South Shields.

As Bakery Packing Operative you will ensure our production lines are fully stocked to supply both retail and wholesale customers. The successful candidates will also ensure stock is rotated, handled and stored correctly in accordance with our Factory Quality manual. You will also ensure all ingredients, packaging and utilities are used efficiently and effectively at all times.

Successful candidates will also maintain high personal standards of hygiene as per company standards and by law to ensure that the cleanliness of the department and food handling procedures are adhered to.

This is a full-time permanent role working 5 days per week, Mon – Fri 0530 – 1330. Bank holiday working is also required.

Rate of Pay - Rate of pay: National living wage/ National Minimum wage depending on age
