About LOVESPACE

We provide flexible self-storage and removal services in the UK & Northern Ireland. We pack or collect items from our customers’ doorsteps, store them in one of our secure storage facilities and deliver them back to any UK address whenever needed – as soon as the next day.

The Opportunity

LOVESPACE is growing and looking to bring good people across departments to help us continue on this path. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

The Role

  • Starting: Immediately
  • Monday - Friday - 9 am - 6 pm
  • Hybrid working pattern – 3 days working from the office (one elective day and Tuesday & Thursday being fixed office days) at Borough station and a 10-minute walk from London Bridge station.
  • Salary: £18,000-22,000 per year

  • You will be expected to work from our office, but we are only 5 minutes from Borough station or a 10-minute walk from London Bridge station, at least three days a week.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Coding supplier submitted invoices and communicating across teams to ensure timely approval for weekly payments.
  • Generating monthly customer invoices and receipts
  • Compiling weekly and monthly finance reports to be reviewed by the Head of Finance.
  • Responding to vendor invoice queries through the shared finance mailbox.
  • Maintaining the shared finance mailbox and escalating tasks to the Head of Finance as needed.
  • Responding to customer account inquiries and occasionally chasing for payments.
  • Reconciling invoice customer payments on Xero and within customer accounts.
  • Reconciling invoice payments on Xero.
  • Assisting in the compilation of company VAT submissions.
  • Responding to customers' debt queries.
  • Periodically issuing refunds on customer accounts.
  • Periodically testing new products designed by the company’s tech team.

  • Fluent in English with excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow a process.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
