Job Description Summary
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Market Data Analyst to join our growing Market Data team. This role offers invaluable insight and exposure across the wider group as our team are the centralised subject matter experts (SME's) for Market Data at Lloyds Banking Group.
Job Description

Our team is responsible for the strategic management of third party Market Data (external pricing and reference data) and Business Information contracts for the group and manages a budget of £millions/ year. The role will appeal to motivated and career minded individuals keen to develop their market data analysis skills with a growing scope of responsibility.
What you'll be doing:
Day to day you'll assist the Market Data Analytics Manager with ownership and provide SME advisory across the Group. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Vendor Relationship Management ensuring continued service for the Groups growing Market Data needs.
  • Contract negotiations
  • Defining the MD Roadmap & partner with transformation and IT for Distribution
  • Provide requirements for consolidation & distribution and providing SME support for transformation programs
  • Help setup and facilitate the Market Data Steering forums and all communications regarding Market Data
  • Identify and handle risks, including escalation where required. Manage dependencies, conflict resolution and compliance cases.
  • Crafting processes for new market data services
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have some experience as a Market Data Analyst with the following skill-set:
  • At least 1 year experience as a Market Data analyst or any transferable role
  • Experience with DACS or other entitlement systems
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Superb communication and documentation skills
  • Experience collaborating closely with exchanges and market data providers
  • Comfortable with contractual and commercial negotiations
  • Extensive market data industry knowledge
  • Strong data analytics and presentation skills
  • Independent problem-solving skills
