Job description

Care Home Manager: Greenock

Holy Rosary Nursing Home is a calm and friendly residential home forming part of the Little Sisters of the Poor worldwide group. If you are interested in managing our team assisting and enriching the lives of the elderly and providing high standards of clinical care, we would love to hear from you.

The Role:

· You will be responsible for the overall management of the home

· Leading the services to residents within the spirit of the Little Sisters of the Poor working in close harmony with our ethos and aims

· Comply with Safeguarding, Adult Protection procedures and National Care Standards at all times.

· Promoting a caring, safe, open and honest environment adhering to the latest guidelines, best practice, legislative and regulatory requirements.

· Ensure that the service meets all mandatory training, legislation, regulations and Health and Safety compliance targets and follows all required reporting procedures.

· Complying with Infection Prevention and Control Policies, including reporting to Public Health.

· Leading the team in pursuit of excellence, Managing all written and verbal complaints and concerns appropriately and effectively.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Registered Manager Award Level 4 or Leadership & Management in Care level 4/5

Previous experience in a similar role or relevant transferable experience

You will be familiar with the SSCC expectations and bench marking for Care Home Managers

  • Ideally a Registered Nurse background with current UK PIN
  • Post qualification management training
