Position Overview & Specifications

Launching a new chapter in the Lily Arkwright story and building upon our phenomenal success in recent years, our by appointment only London showroom is located in WC1A Holborn, a short walk from the iconic Covent Gardens.

We are seeking a driven and talented Showroom Manager to coordinate the day to day showroom activities, support the online client services team and carry out customer showroom appointments.

The successful candidate will be given full training and will be supported by the Manchester head office management team.

About you:

With proven fine jewellery experience in a sales and managerial role, you will have a natural flair for fine jewellery, and a unique ability to nurture client relations with your exceptional sales abilities. Ensuring we help clients find the perfect engagement, wedding ring or special jewellery purchase, whilst offering the very highest level of customer service.

You will take ownership of your work and have a real passion for lab diamonds, natural diamonds and ethical gemstones. We are seeking an individual who takes pride in their work and one who wants to make a positive change in an exciting and ambitious company.

Responsibilities of the Showroom Manager

  • Reporting to the Company Operations Manager.
  • Meeting customers for face-to-face consultations.
  • Manage the daily activities of operating a luxury fine jewellery Showroom in line with company standards.
  • Maintaining excellent presentation of the jewellery and showroom.
  • Ensure our staff and showroom are consistently safe and secure, adhering to company procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain the showroom calendar.
  • Effectively resolve complex customer service challenges, finding solutions which exceed the Lily Arkwright customer expectations.
  • Respond to customers enquiries via email, phone, live chat and social channels.
  • Customer after-care.
  • Be driven, and self motivated to inspire your colleagues to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Regular stock checking and organising immediate replenishment of best-selling key lines by working closely with Head Office.
  • Help create and maintain a service culture focused on the customer, enhance the buying experience and build relationships that lead to long term business growth.

About you

  • Previous fine jewellery experience is essential, this can be shop floor, online or within a workshop.
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer, typing/keyboarding and data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, creative problem solving, organisational and time management skills
