Direct Distribution Analytics within Liberty Mutual's Insights & Solutions group is seeking a highly motivated analyst to join the team with a focus on optimizing the Digital Sales experience through which consumers can quote and purchase individual policies across digital devices. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguous problem-solving and enjoys translating quantitative data into actionable insights that will drive strategy in digital customer acquisition and help achieve key economic targets. You will partner with a diverse set of stakeholders on complex business problems and gain subject matter expertise of the digital and direct data landscape and tools. Responsibilities: Utilize a variety of web analytics tools and data sources to lead multivariate analysis and A/B testing focused on enhancing the digital sales funnel experience and economics in a variety of focus areas (e.g. customer segmentation, product bundling, cross-sell, multichannel, lead monetization, tech modernization, webchat etc.) Lead work streams both independently and cross-functionally, partnering with diverse stakeholders and Agile Product teams to make actionable recommendations for future enhancements Drive the development, prioritization, and execution of strategic digital and direct channel roadmaps using both qualitative and quantitative insights Analyze variances in key online performance metrics versus financial plan to diagnose drivers of gaps and build value-based business cases for new opportunities for implementation Collaborate across Direct Distribution, thinking critically and holistically to drive a cohesive strategy across the entire direct ecosystem (digital and call center platforms) Experience querying, curating, and manipulating large datasets from multiple platforms and sources to deliver insights to critical and complex business questions Ability to effectively balance various tasks simultaneously, communicate proactively with stakeholders, and adapt to shifting or competing priorities in a fast-paced working environment Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills with experience preparing and delivering presentations for a wide range of audiences, including influencing senior leadership on key priorities and business decisions Web analytics experience is a plus (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics); a strong interest in Digital is necessary Qualifications Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum 3 years, typically 4 or more years of experience, or equivalent, is required. Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field are preferred fields of study. Advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, statistical principles and methodologies, and techniques. Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, macros, scripts, formulas, data visualization, etc.), PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, SQL, Snowflake, Python, R). Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills. Solid understanding of business to improve business outcomes.
