Position Overview & Specifications

We are looking for an individual to become a third member of our Senior Management Team and become a vital part of decision making within the Business. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to progress to Director level within the Business and therefore the process to select the right fit will be intensive and the salary point will match what the right candidate is worth.

Job Overview: To oversee the planning of production and ensure that the business is running efficiently and providing a quality product and service that meets the expectations and needs of its clients.

Candidate Expectations

· Good fit for business to work with and challenge Senior management team and manage/develop Operations team.

· Experience of manufacturing to make improvements of KPIs of waste, efficiencies, OTIF and non-conformances.

· Major player in managing projects of machine installations, factory move and process/system improvement.

Responsibilities

· Oversee production planning, liaise between departments and ensure the business is adequately resourced.

Measure: Ouput matching budget and hitting delivery dates.

· Providing a leadership support function to teams and motivating staff to achieve production goals.

Measure: Dashboard - Waste, Efficiencies etc. (set targets).

· Managing budgets and costs effectively.

Measure: Budget targets.

· Implementation and management of projects, systems, policies and procedures relating to business operations.

Measure: Operations Dashboard - Projects, system, policies, procedures update.

· Line Manager for Production Staff dealing with all HR issues and ensuring members of staff are compliant with Labelnet culture.

Measure: Staff Performance Reviews - Quarterly.

· Management of Quality Assurance Systems (BRC, ISO), Site tidiness and organisation and all Health & Safety related matters.

Measure: BRC / ISO Annual Audits & Regular Internal Audits.

Duties & Tasks

· Management of Production Schedule resources to consistently meet the output targets of the business.

· Management of work output to ensure the business operates efficiently, meets the requirements of its clients and operates within set budgets.

· Management of Production Staff - HR issues and regular communication.

· Monitoring and analysing the output, systems and procedures of the business to check that they remain effective.

· Work on new systems and procedures to continually improve the business and its employees.

· Liaising with other team members and senior management team to provide feedback on how operations are affecting the business.

· Managing resources of the production department, ensuring employees are capable to perform required tasks and developing staff through training programs.

· Planning and controlling change. Managing Projects and driving continuous improvement throughout the business.

· Managing quality assurance and management system programs.

· Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency.

· Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost.

· Overseeing inventory, distribution of goods and facility layout
