WHAT YOU'LL DO ‍

• Hands-on development, code reviews and application architecture
• Involved in technical design, development, testing support and be required to interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
• Perform coding to written technical specs
• Investigate, analyse and document reported defects
• Perform maintenance programming correction of identified defects
• Create, document, implement unit test plans, scripts, test harnesses
• Create technical documents using defined technical documentation templates
• Supervise, assist and mentor other developers, lead regular stand ups
• Experience of working on the hybris platform essential
• Java/J2EE experience
• Programming EJB,JSP,XML,OR SQL
• Knowledge of web services, Javascript or Jboss application server
• Knowledge of hibernate, Spring, Struts
• Proficient in hybris WCMS,Cockpits,Cron jobs, internationalization,personalization,security concepts REST
• Experience hybris Multichannel Suite 5.x
• Knowledge of database architecture design
• Some R&D Requirements

• Knowledge of and experience in vanilla JavaScript and jQuery
• Knowledge of and experience in HTML 5, CSS 3, web layout design and RWD implementation.
• Practical experience in working with tools and frameworks, like Bootstrap, Gulp/Grunt, Bower/npm, Webpack, NodeJS, Babel
• Familiar with GIT and Continuous Integration practices
• Practical experience in REST-full applications development
• Solid understanding of cross-platform browser compatibility issues.
• Knowledge of human factors and innovative user interface methodologies, understanding of usability issues, experience in relevant standards.
• Experience in design and implementation of localized web sites.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Previous experience as a Back End Developer
• Demonstrable experience of developing applications using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)

• Good experience with Java development
• Strong Spring MVC knowledge
