About the role

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be working as a Team Member across various stations including food preparation and service, manning the till, and hosting the floor. Your key duties will include the following:

• Preparing and plating food in a fast paced kitchen environment
• Occasionally completing basic food prep ready for a busy service, following basic recipes
• Replenishing stock
• Maintaining the restaurant floor, seating guests and offering help where necessary.
• Liaising with the Grill Chefs to manage stock levels throughout the shift
• Operating a POS system - inputting orders, printing bills, handling payments
• Maintaining an extremely clean and organised work area, both mid shift and the end of day clean down
• Maintaining an impeccable standard of food hygiene and safety - ensuring all due diligence and food hygiene standards are adhered to
• Partaking in regular area audits
• Passing dishes, cutlery etc. through the dishwasher

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with lots of energy, who is able to handle a high pressure, fast paced kitchen environment. You must have excellent customer service with the ability to converse with guests offering recommendations and upselling from the menu. You must also have a passion for good food and tidy presentation, as well as a keen eye for ensuring food quality is maintained to the highest level. You will need great attention to detail when it comes to putting together a well presented dish as well as when maintaining a clean and organised work area. You should have the ability to work as part of a team whilst also using your own initiative. You MUST have experience working in a similar environment as well as a general knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
