Your role will be to work on the floor alongside the team leaders, to support and mentor the practitioners and modern apprentices in order to develop their on the floor practice and knowledge. You will be a role model for the rest of the team.

Candidates should:

Hold a HNC or SVQ level 3 qualification in Early Education and Childcare or equivalent

Have proven experience in delivering Curriculum for Excellence and “How Good Is Our Early Learning and Childcare?”. You should also have a working knowledge of Realising the Ambition and GIRFEC.

Successful candidates will be required to become a member of SSSC and PVG Scheme.

Responsibilities of the job include :

Providing learning experiences for children that are age and stage appropriate.

Taking part in staff training that is provided throughout the year.

Working as part of a team.

Supporting the staff team to develop their knowledge of child development and curriculum.

Salary: £21,840.00-£24,960.00 per year
