Position Overview & Specifications
Kingston Grammar School is seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Peripatetic teacher of Rock and Pop Guitar (Acoustic/Electric) to start in April 2023. The successful candidate will join us in a school with a lively and engaging music department. The ideal candidate will bring high levels of musicality, musicianship, enthusiasm and technical prowess. They should be eager to lead, drive and shape popular music at KGS over the coming years and will desirably have some experience of working in a studio environment.
This post may also be combined with the opportunity to lead co-curricular activities in the popular music idiom. A willingness to contribute to the wider work of the department, especially at concerts and musical events is highly desirable.
As part of the interview process, you will be required to teach a 15-minute lesson to a current student.
Salary: £23 per half hour lesson.
