Enhanced Retail Security Officer

Kingdom Services Group are a key partner to River Island, and we have a great opportunity for an Enhanced Retail Security Officer to join our team.

Based within the Queensgate Centre Store in Peterborough, you will receive 1st class training, enabling you to become a Security Brand Ambassador for Kingdom Security, whilst protecting and supporting the customer journey and shopping experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Officer looking to develop their career with an Industry Leading Security Service Provider.

Where: Queensgate Centre, Peterborough, PE1 area

When: We’re looking to get the right person in to the team ASAP

Hours: On average 40 hours per week. Wednesday, 09.00 - 17.00, Thursday 09.00 - 19.00, Friday 09.00 - 17.00, Saturday 09.30 - 17.30 & Sunday 11.00 - 17.00.

Salary: £13.32 per hour

About the role:

• First point of contact for Kingdom Security officers in store
• Working closely with the local police and crime hubs gathering intel on prolific shoplifters in the area
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel
• Providing a visible deterrent within the store
• Reducing shrink/stock loss
• Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
• Working as part of a team to fulfil customer requirements
• Dealing with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner

About you:

• A minimum of 12 months experience – preferably within Retail Security
• A valid SG or DS SIA Licence
• Have the ability to manage conflict in a balanced and professional manner
• Knowledge and experience of A.S.C.O.N.E & PACE
• A full five-year checkable employment history
